Digital Consciousness – Sustainable Intelligence
On Tuesday 8 July at The Royal Institution in London, Braintree hosted a public event entitled, “Rethinking AI – Digital Consciousness, Sustainable Intelligence” with a diverse audience of around 150 attendees consisting of AI scientists and researchers, data engineers, philosophers of science (history, ethics, governance, law), AI-First businesses, visionary Investors, impact and sustainability promoters, representatives from government and private sector and other open-minded thinkers.
Dr Pippa Malmgren (economist) made the case in favor of the enthusiastic embrace and deployment of AI and Kay Firth-Butterfield (international lawyer) made the case for more cautious deployment.
