Responsible AI-Is it Worth it and Can it be Achieved?Institute for Experiential AI:

The way humans interact with AI is at a tipping point now, and it is vital that we make smart choices. If we choose right we can set up the future for our children and generations to come. If we choose wrong, we will likely erode trust, invite more regulation and slow innovation.

This seminar will examine the critical need for Responsible AI (formerly known as Ethical AI) to: Accelerate the social value of AI; ensure everyone has access to benefits and mitigate negative impacts and unintended consequences. We’ll discuss the varied approaches to Responsible AI across the globe, including the United States’ human rights approach, and explain why a multi-stakeholder strategy that unites government, industry, civil society, and academia to accelerate adoption of AI in the global public interest offers the best chance of success.
